We3 Records (Doc, Jon Margolis, and smb) and a partnership was formed to make this record. Some of the Black Hills' most talented artists dropped in to help, and two singles ("Mrs. Maybe" and "Small Town Man") again landed heavy regional rotation. Warner Bros. promotion guru-Steve Fingerett-was brought in to manage the band, and the Twin Cities became our second home. Wendell Kelsey, Kevin Wright, and Dennis Hutto took ASO to new rock heights following the exit of Jon Margolis and Kelli Heidler (AKA Jasmine Cain). I think we made a very smooth record, but may have misplaced a few too many organic edges for some.
